Which Advent Calendar Will You Buy This Year?

*Contains PR Samples. All opinions are my own.

I have been quite literally wowed this year by the phenomenal selection of advent calendars on offer. So we thought we would share with you a few of our favourites:

Mamas and Papas Penguin Advent Calendar: £15

Ideal for younger children and those with allergies, this stunning penguin Advent calendar allows you to fill each pocket with treats of your choice, meaning not only can you be sure exactly what each pocket contains but that you have a beautiful decoration to adorn your house each Christmas season. This is a choice well worth considering for families of children on the Spectrum, who struggle with the unexpected.

The Real Advent Calendar: £3.99

I really love this calendar by the Meaningful Chocolate Company, because it is the best of both worlds. The perfect way to ensure that the real meaning of Christmas is not forgotten, without making children feel as though they are missing out when friends at school talk about the chocolate in their advent calendar. Children can now by introduced to the Christmas Story via the fabulous accompanying booklet and be reminded of it each morning as they open their calendar. Even better, the chocolate inside is fairtrade and a charitable donation is made with each purchase.

Retro Sweets Advent Calendar: £9.99

For those looking for a treat filled advent calendar that steers away from the traditional chocolate, this retro sweets advent calendar is an ideal choice. For the adults in the room, it’s a true trip down memory lane with love hearts, bubblegum, lollies and more. What better way to harness your inner child, or indeed to introduce your child to the sweets of your youth?

Divine Dark Chocolate Advent Calendar: £4.99

I am a big fan of fair trade products, and a strong believer that at Christmas whilst we are busy buying gifts we should consider the impact of our gift on the world around us – this delicious Divine chocolate calendar is therefore a fantastic choice. Made with cocoa beans from Kuapa Kokoo, a fair trade co-operative of smallholder farmers in Ghana, it’s lovely to know that in a simple way you can make a difference this year.

Smiggle Advent Calendar: £22.50

Without doubt one of the most exciting way to get your child wanting to draw, colour and explore their world – Smiggle is a much loved brand for excellent reasons. Their fantastic advent calendar is one that will delight both parents and their children alike, not least because the value of the gifts inside are worth almost twice its current price.
