A Review Of Plum Paper Planners

*This product was gifted to us for an honest review.

There are few things in life that get me quite as excited as a new planner. The possibilities always seem endless at the beginning of the year. And a good planner seems to embody that in a way that nothing else really can.

So when Plum Paper very kindly asked if I would like to choose one of their gorgeous planners to review I was more than a little delighted.

And when my 8 1/2 by 11 inch planner arrived it was every bit as incredible as I’d hoped.

So What Do I Love About My Plum Paper Planner?

Number one on my list has to be the extent to which it is customisable in terms of both its design and its content.

With two different sizes and eight different daily page layouts to choose from this is a planner which truly can be the one you want it to be. So much so that Plum Paper even take it one step further, allowing you to totally customise the text if you decide to do so. Add to that the ability to start your planner in any month. And to choose your number of months (12 – 18) it really is hard not to see an option that would work well for just about anyone.

The optional blog and social media sections are perfect for me. I love how well thought out they are. With sections to keep track of review products, to jot down post ideas and to firm up my schedule I’m more than a little excited about the level of organisation it will allow me to achieve.

Don’t worry if you’re not a blogger though there are other options you can choose. From helping with household management to running a business, to travel and education. In fact the teaching options look so great I have a feeling I already know where I’ll be ordering my Teacher Planner from this summer.

The tabs are a huge favourite of mine. I’m always running madly from one thing to another. From home to school, from blogging to parenting. Being able to switch quickly between months is definitely going to help me keep better track of every aspect of my life.

The focus on goal setting is just how I need it to be to keep me on track.

From the section right at the beginning of the blog which will allow me to look at the year at a glance, to the individual goals on the monthly highlights pages. And of course not forgetting the fantastic blog goals section within the blogging insert.

It might actually empower me to send birthday cards on time. With a special birthday section at the start of each month, I’ll be able to get myself organised and see what is coming up, rather than end up being surprised on the day.

The plastic cover protectors. The reality is that as much as I would like to pretend otherwise I’m not particularly careful when it comes to looking after my things. I throw things in a bag and run to wherever I need to be next. The added security that these give me, mean that I’ll be able to continue carrying my planner with me without worrying it will get damaged.

Last but definitely not least I really really love how beautiful it is. The reality is that if it looks pretty I am much more likely to actually get round to using it. And this one really is a beauty. The fact that I could customise it with the blog’s logo on the front really is the icing on the cake.

What Would I Change?

Nothing at all about the Planner itself. It’s s perfect for what I need. I do wish it was made in England though, as it would reduce the time and cost of shipping. The reality is though, that when it comes to beautiful planners the Americans are pretty hard to beat.

Who Would I Recommend A Plum Paper Planner To?

Plum Paper planners are pretty much a blogger’s dream. With places to record ideas, stats, goals and commitments there really is nothing else I could ask for.

The hashtag recommendations and social media image size suggestions are both things I know that I’ll come back to time and time again. This is a Planner ideal for anyone looking to really analyse their social media and to make improvements to it.

But it’s far more than that. Because of the range of personalisation options it’s a planner that can easily turn into anyone’s ideal. If you are looking for a planner, that is beautiful, well thought out and can truly be made yours this one is very hard to beat.

  1. Looks amazing! Sadly I just hoard pretty stationery and don’t use them to their full potential so I’m trying a mixture of paper and online this year

  2. Hadn’t even come across Plum Paper Planners before this… These look amazing! I think it’s the edge of formality and how succinctly it’s laid out that really appeals to me. xx

  3. This is such a great planner for bloggers! It can be so difficult keeping up with everything, but I love how easy this makes everything.

  4. I absolutely love the idea of a planner, but I am so frightfully unorganized I’d never actually use it! One year I’ll get more organised, but I doubt it’ll be this year. 😉 Wishing you all the best for 2018! 🙂
