When Ocean Spray asked us if we’d like to test out their new Wholeberry juices we were more than a little delighted. Especially as their delicious cranberry juice is something that we normally drink as a family with our breakfast each day.
I knew the Other Half would be keen, because as Wholeberry juice contains the whole fruit – you get all of the health benefits from the skin, pulp and flesh as well as the juice.
But I was keen to see how the change would go down with the children. After all, the Bear can be particular about change. And as regular readers know when it comes to food and drink, the Lion definitely errs on the side of caution.
I needn’t have worried, though both were easy converts. And so were we. Not only do both Wholeberry juices taste delicious. But the texture is incredible. Not quite as thick as a smoothie, but thicker than a standard juice. You can really tell the difference that having the crushed whole fruit in there makes.
With winter coming up, we decided to experiment a little and make some delicious cocktails. I wanted to see if we could enjoy these delicious Wholeberry juices whenever we fancied a treat. After all with winter comes cough and cold season, and with cranberries being rich in both antioxidants and vitamin C I’m keen to make sure that we’re doing all we can to stay healthy.
Having discovered Mocktails when we were on holiday the Bear was keen to get involved, both with the making of, naming of and of course the drinking of them!
Why not try one for yourself?

I love cranberry juice as well but I never tried the version where they are crushed instead of squeezed. I find the texture to be very interesting and more natural, I think that juices with bits in them are healthier as well. The mocktails you’ve made with this juice sound very yummy!
In which case you definitely need to try them as they really are lovely x
I’m not a drinker so this is the perfect choice for me over the festive period – love cranberries!
Me too, these are really refreshing as well, the perfect treat x
Ooh these sound super tasty. I love juices so much, and I like the fact that these do have all of the fruit in for the full benefits! Fab idea.
They really are delicious too x

It really is, I love that the children are getting so much goodness from it x
These look so delicious. The first one (brilliant name!) would be my choice. Love Ocean Spray!

Wow! These mocktails are such a tasty party idea, Victoria. My friends will love these beverages. Do you use fresh or frozen berries?
Aww thank you, we used fresh berries x
