A Review Of The YippieYo

*This product was gifted to us for an honest review.

When we were offered the chance to do a review of the YippieYo I jumped at the chance.

Living in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales it was a pram that I know would make a huge difference to our lives. We would be able to get out in the countryside and explore. We would never again be worried about getting stuck in the mud, or trying to drag a buggy that refused to cooperate across long grass.

Its arrival was eagerly anticipated.

I wasn’t however prepared for just how wonderful it would be.

A Review Of The YippieYo Cross Buggy

So What Do We Love About It?

It’s a pram that is both stylish and spacious. Easily large enough for two children to sit in side by side, it’s guaranteed to draw looks of admiration from all who pass by.

Both of my children think it’s wonderful. The Lion has a look of sheer delight on his face from the moment he gets in. Whilst the Bear thinks it’s fantastic to pull him along.

Up hill and down dale, the Yippie Yo is light and easy to steer. The break is easy to access, and gives you a real feeling of security when navigating across steeper terrain.

The excellent seatbelt style system means that the Lion is always safe and secure. Even with his Houdini style tendencies there really is no way he can escape. And come to think of it, he doesn’t want to.

This is the only pram the Lion would actively choose to be in. It’s interactive, it’s fun, it’s comfortable. It truly is the buggy babies would choose for themselves!

What’s more, YippieYo haven’t just thought about how it works outside, but how it can be practically stored at home and transported in the car.

Both wheels detach easily, perfect not only for reducing the space the buggy takes up but also for ensuring that no matter how much fun you’ve had, and where you’ve explored, it’s easy to keep your car clean. Something that definitely gains the Other Half’s vote!

Meanwhile the YippieYo itself folds neatly, making it perfect for storing in an under stairs cupboard or putting in the boot.

Is There Anything We Would Change?

From a purely selfish point of view, I’d love it if YippieYo designed a one child buggy. That way it would be narrow enough to pull the Lion round town in. He might even decide shopping isn’t so bad if he could ride in style!

Who Would We Recommend It To?

The YippieYo is perfect for adventure loving families, who love to spend their time outdoors. It’s a buggy that is hard to beat, especially for those with more than one little one.

In short, if you are looking for a buggy that is worthy of your adventures, you won’t go far wrong with a YippieYo.

After all, exciting memories are definitely worth making.

  1. Oh wow, that looks great! As an outdoorsey person it can sometimes be hard persuading my friends with kids to join us because of the whole buggy/carry issue. This looks like a great way to nudge them in the right direction. I agree that a single version would be more useful though as it would also fit onto some of the more narrow paths. Thanks for a great review though, I will pass it on to my parent friends.

  2. That looks a lot of fun – my only question would be does it take its toll on your back after a while? Much more sensible that struggling with a pram or stroller over a bumpy field though- the number of times I’ve had to do that and it knackers the buggy wheels too.
